The powder form of Spherical Nickel, with the chemical formula Ni (submicron and nanopowder), may be used for industrial purposes and applications. Spherical Nickel Powder appears gray-black. It is mostly used in 3D-printing.

Spherical Nickel powder

Product specifications: 15-45mm (15-53mm), 45-75mm (45-105mm), 75-150mm (45-105mm). The granularity can be tailored to the customer’s requirements.

Powder characteristics include high purity (>=99.8%), a low oxygen content (=300ppm), sphericity, uniform particle distribution, and high flow performance.

The following processes are applicable: Additive manufacturing by laser/electron beam (SLM/EBM), Direct Laser Deposition (DLD), Hot isostatic Powder Pressing (HIP), Metal injection molding (MIM), Powder metal metallurgy(PM), Laser Cladding, and other processes.

Powder application: Nickel is a silvery white metal with high mechanical strength and ductility. It has a strong resistance to corrosion by acids and bases and can withstand high temperatures. Spherical nickel can be used as an electronic material for MLCC internal electrodes, conductive coatings, wave absorbing materials, radiation shieldings and more.

Storage Conditions of Spherical Nickel Particles:

Spherical Nickel Powder will not perform well if it is exposed to air. It should be packed in vacuum and kept in a dry and cool room. Spherical Nickel should not be exposed to stress.
