Applications
NSP-3:
This device is used to remove mercaptan from natural gas as well as carbon dioxide from liquid natural gas.
Natural gas is a mixture primarily of hydrocarbons. However, it also contains CO2,H2S as well as other gases. These gases can cause equipment to corrode and reduce the calorific content of the gas. To avoid corrosive gas corrosion and crystallization, the LNG (liquefied Natural Gas) raw material, CNG (compressed Natural Gas), must also be purified before liquefaction. Carbon dioxide can easily turn into dry ice when liquefying, clogging up pipes. CNG’s high CO2 content must be removed to prepare it for LNG.
