Applications Petroleum Sulfonate

This product is a anionic surfactant that is prepared from crude oil fractions by sulfonation. Its lipophilic structure includes linear alkyl benzene, branched alkyl benzene, and alkyl cycloalkyl benzene. It can lower the oil-water tension interfacial to an ultra-low level. This product can be used with oil blocks that have formation water salt levels between 500 and 30000 mg/L. It has excellent resistance against calcium and magnesium ions. The product is also able to reverse wetting, has anti-adsorption properties, and can moderately emulsify crude oil. It increases the recovery rate and reduces the water content from 98% in the used block to about 85%. This results in a good increase of oil and an increase of precipitation.
