Aluminum nitride
It’s a covalent-bonding compound. The chemical formula for AIN is It is an atomic nitride crystal that belongs to the diamond-like hexagonal system. The crystal has a wurtzite crystal structure.

Gray powder can be obtained by using the al2O3C–N2 system reaction synthesizer at 1600 1750. You can also use aluminum chloride as ammonia gas. By vapor deposition, the AlCl3/NH3 system can be used to synthesize the coating.
