It is a metallic, light-brown cubic crystal powder belonging to the sodium chloride cubic cristal system. The density is 11.3g/cm3.
Water insoluble, insoluble, inorganic acid insoluble, soluble hydrofluoric acid, and nitric-acid mixed acid and degradation. It is strong in oxidation resistance, and easily melts and decomposes by potassium pyrosulfate. Superconductivity is demonstrated by its high conductivity. It can resist 30O at room temperatures.
This is useful for powder metallurgy as well as cutting tools for fine ceramics and chemical vapor deposition. 1. For TaC powder, use tantalum pentoxide and solid carbon ball mills. At 1700, reduce the mixture and then carburize in a nonoxidizing atmosphere (mainly vacuum, argon atmosphere).
2. By heat treating in an oxygen-free atmosphere using the liquid precursor, nano tantalum caride powder was made. A small glass beaker with 0.50gTaCL5 was filled with 5mL of anhydrousethanol. It was then stirred well using a glass rod. After it had been heated to 55°C and worked at 40kHz for 20 minutes, the ultrasonic cleaner turned on, and then put it into an 80W ultrasonic cleaner. The ultrasonic oscillation took between 5-10 minutes. Next, 0.10g was added to the nano-activated carbon. This oscillation continued for approximately 15-20 minutes. Then, pour it into the crucible. Coat it well on the inner walls. Dry it with a heat fan. Place the crucible with sample in a hot press furnace. High-temperature treatment took place at 1300 in a vacuum atmosphere of 100Pa, hydrogen atmosphere, or at 1400 under argon atmosphere. Holding time was 0.5h. Heating rate was 20/min. Use a brush to brush the products after you have completed the experiment.
3. Tantalum pentoxide can be converted to heat by heating the air. Potassium pyrosulfate can be fused. Tantalum and tantalum carbon, or tantalum pentoxide in an inert environment heated to 1900.
4. You can use tantalum pentoxide or methane to react gas. Argon as the carrier. Silicon carbide resistance is required from external radiation heating and carbonization.
