iron concentrate is the first stage of iron processing and separates the iron containing minerals from other materials. It is also a key step for producing pellets, which are used in the blast furnace process.

The concentration process combines magnetic separation with flotation to increase the iron content of ore and remove gangue impurities. The gangue is made up of silica (SiO2), clay soil and sometimes calcareous compounds.

There are many different processes for processing ore and producing concentrate. Some of the most common include crushing and grinding, enrichment (separation and filtration), and sintering.

Various companies produce iron concentrate, such as Metinvest, which operates an iron ore enrichment plant in Ukraine based on the Kryvyi Rih deposit. The company produces non-fluxed and fluxed concentrates for use in the blast furnace process.

Maxi Health’s iron concentrate is a gentle iron supplement with a delicious berry flavor that contains one of the highest bioavailable forms of iron known as Ferrochel. It is formulated with a patented, nutritionally functional amino acid chelate that is easy on the system.

Humans get most of their 3 to 4 grams of elemental iron from foods and dietary supplements, including red meat and poultry. It is also found in some vegetables, nuts, legumes and other foods.

It is essential for the development and maintenance of bone tissue, the production of hemoglobin and erythrocytes, and the transport of oxygen throughout the body. In addition, it helps with cellular growth and reproduction.
